VISTANCIA RESIDENTS TO STAGE ANNUAL GARAGE SALE WITH NEW ADDITION OF COMMUNITY FLEA MARKET

Valley bargain hunters will find plenty of undiscovered treasure and gently-used items when Vistancia residents hold their annual community-wide garage sale from 7 a.m.-noon March 28.

The event, sponsored by the Vistancia Village Homeowners Association, will be held at the north Peoria community located northwest of Lake Pleasant Parkway and Happy Valley Road.

This year, Vistancia is adding a flea market in the Mountain Vista Club parking lot for residents who would like to sell only a few items and for garage salers who would like a one-stop shop.

Dozens of homes will take part in the neighborhood event, with detailed maps listing participating homes available at the community's Mountain Vista Club.

In addition, Goodwill of Central Arizona will be on hand from 10 a.m.-3 p.m. in the Mountain Vista Club parking lot to accept donations of both large and small items.

At last November's community-wide garage sale, with the help of Trilogy residents, Vistancia donated more than 37,000 pounds of goods to the charity.

To reach Vistancia, take Lake Pleasant Parkway (99th Avenue) north to Happy Valley Road. Turn left on Happy Valley Road and head west four miles. Once in the community, follow the signs to the Mountain Vista Club.
