FROM A PET PSYCHIC TO FLYING DOG DEMOS, VISTANCIA'S BOW WOW POW WOW TO BRING THE "WOOF" FACTOR TO VALLEY CANINES
Valley canines will be entertained, trained and even read by a psychic during Vistancia's Bow Wow Pow Wow from 11 a.m.-2 p.m. March 22 at the Peoria community.
The event, free and open to the public, will take place on the Mountain Vista event lawn located within Vistancia, four miles northwest of Lake Pleasant Road.
"Imagine 'everything dog' in one place," said Monica Hollins. "Complete with entertainment, dog rescue, activities, training and contests, this event is perfect for man and man's best friend."
Hollins also added that guests do not have to bring a dog along to attend the event.
Emcee and dog trainer Bill Watters will amaze guests with his Air Major Flying Dog show. Guests can watch as his amazing pooches fly through the air performing unbelievable disc tricks.
Rescue shelters will be on site to discuss and start the process of adopting a canine with guests. Procedure and pricing information will be available.
Louise Ungro, a local pet psychic, will be available for pet readings. Ungro has proven her talents on radio and television stations throughout the country performing readings and healings on pets and humans.
Adding to the tail wagging time, free dog training tips and multiple pet/owner contests including "Best Pet Trick" and "Best Look-alike" will also be available.
The community is also accepting donations of unopened dog food to benefit the participating dog rescue centers.
