NEW INFORMATION CENTER AND NEW MODELS FROM TEN BUILDERS SET TO OPEN IN APRIL AT VISTANCIA

North Peoria's largest master planned community is on the move - literally.

With nearly 3,000 homes sold and close to 200,000 visitors since its inception in 2004, home builders at Vistancia are transitioning to new models in builder neighborhoods April 1.

The new models will make their debut on April 1, a day after the original model gallery closes it doors and Vistancia moves to its new Information Center, located on the southeast corner of Vistancia Boulevard and Lone Mountain Parkway. This new Information Center will provide home shoppers with maps and builder information and will continue to give Vistancia visitors information on the future development of Vistancia.

"We created a unique home shopping experience with the model gallery and Discovery Center," said Curt Smith, chief operating officer for Sunbelt Holdings. Sunbelt is developing the community in partnership with Shea Homes. "This move is the evolution of the community and will allow our builders to present new opportunities for homebuyers." More than 100 different floor plans are currently available at Vistancia.

"Buyer response has been incredible over these past four years," Smith said. "With more than 6,000 people now calling Vistancia home, we're excited to move into the next stage of development."

Home builders in Vistancia are currently completing updated models in their new neighborhoods, many of which are located near the intersection of Vistancia Boulevard and Lone Mountain Parkway, and possess some of the best views of the surrounding desert.

Each builder - Cachet Homes, Shea Homes, T.W. Lewis, Engle Homes, Maracay Homes, Ashton Woods Homes, Rosewood Homes and Trend Homes - will welcome home buyers with freshly updated models and some new floor plans.

At the same time, Vistancia Village Community Association will be expanding into the building previously used as the Discovery Center. The model gallery neighborhood, known as Tapestry, is a unique neighborhood with homes ranging from 1400 square feet to almost 5,000 square feet. Many of the model homes are currently for sale.

Vistancia is known for its natural topography and integration of amenities with neighborhoods. Conceived and developed as a bustling community that co-exists naturally with the surrounding Sonoran desert, the 7,100-acre Vistancia has been a hit with home buyers since it first debuted.
