VISTANCIA RANKED ONE OF THE 10 TOP-SELLING MASTER PLANS IN THE NATION

Vistancia has been named one of the 10 top-selling master planned communities in the nation for 2006 according to an annual survey by RCLCO, formerly Robert Charles Lesser & Co., LLC.

The 7,100-acre community, being developed by Sunbelt Holdings in a partnership with Shea Homes, was ranked eighth with 572 net sales.

Vistancia is one of three Sunbelt Holdings communities appearing in the top 10 survey conducted by RCLCO, an independent real estate advisory firm which compiles information from master plans across the country. The others are Johnson Ranch in the southeast Valley and Power Ranch in Gilbert. They are also the only Arizona master plans to appear on the survey.

Vistancia is located northwest of Lake Pleasant Road and Happy Valley Parkway in north Peoria.

"Vistancia was designed to encourage discovery of the natural surroundings through its amenities and to offer residential architecture that harmonizes with the desert," said Curt Smith Chief Operating Officer for Sunbelt Holdings which is developing the community in a joint partnership with Shea Homes, both of Scottsdale. "It fills a need for many in the West Valley to get closer to nature."

This is the third consecutive year Vistancia has been included in the RCLCO survey since it opened in 2004.

Thirty-eight models by eight builders are offered at the community. Three collections include the Adventure Collection with homes ranging from 1,301 to 2,767 square feet; the Journey Collection with homes from 1,721 to 3,827 square feet; and the Destination Collection with homes from 2,741 to 4,924 square feet. Builders include Ashton Woods, Cachet Homes, Engle Homes, Maracay Homes, Rosewood Homes, Shea Homes, Trend Homes and T.W. Lewis.

Vistancia's key amenity is the Discovery Trail, a linear park covering a total of 3.35 miles each way. Serving as the community's main artery, the Discovery Trail links neighborhoods with existing amenities and Vistancia's K-8 Elementary School.

Other amenities feature the 15,000-square-foot Mountain Vista Club with indoor basketball gymnasium and tennis complex, game lawn, three pools including a water slide pool, a resort-style pool and a heated lap pool, an outdoor event lawn for small-concert venues and large play area nearby.

In addition, the 18-hole, 7,225-yard Trilogy Golf Club at Vistancia is a daily fee course with a practice facility and an 11,000-square-foot clubhouse designed by architect Bing Hu.
