VISTANCIA LISTED AMONG TOP 25 MASTER PLANNED COMMUNITIES IN THE COUNTRY

Vistancia has been listed among the top 25 best-selling master planned communities in the nation for 2005 by Robert Charles Lesser & Co., LLC.

The 7,100-acre community in north Peoria is ranked 13 among master plans in Arizona, California, Colorado, Florida, Texas, Nevada and Utah with 1,015 home sales. The community first appeared on the list last year when it was ranked 15 for home sales in 2004, the year it opened.

Robert Charles Lesser & Co. is a leading national, independent real estate advisory firm which has annually released its master planned community rankings since 1994.

"Even with fluctuations in the real estate market in 2005, sales continued to be strong" said Curt Smith, chief operating officer for Sunbelt Holdings, which is developing Vistancia in a joint partnership with Shea Homes. He added that more than 1,900 homes have been sold since opening, including the age-qualified Trilogy at Vistancia neighborhood, and more than 2,500 residents reside there.

Other Sunbelt communities included on the list are Johnson Ranch in the Southeast Valley, ranked eight with 1,290 home sales, and Surprise Farms, ranked 12

with 1,111 home sales.

VISTANCIA'S HOME SALES AMONG TOP IN THE NATION

Vistancia recently started second phase home sales offering 755 additional home sites with another 150 sites to open in three neighborhoods later this year.

A model home village showcases 35 homes by six builders including Ashton-Woods, Cachet Homes, Engle Homes, Maracay Homes, Shea Homes, and T.W. Lewis. Three home collections-Adventure, Journey and Destination-feature a diverse selection of floor plans ranging from 1,400 to more than 4,900 square feet.

Vistancia's architecture as well as amenities reflect a lifestyle that encompasses nature and discovery of the surrounding desert environment. The centerpiece amenity, The Discovery Trail, links neighborhoods to the resort-style amenities, and eventually, schools and jobs, to create an integrated community. "People are looking for places like this that offer a sense of community and where neighbors know each other," said Smith.

In addition, plans call for more than 1,000 acres of open space that will allow residents and visitors to enjoy and explore the region's natural wonders.
