NEW NEIGHBORHOODS OPEN AT VISTANCIA IN NORTH PEORIA
Following brisk activity over the past 18 months, second phase home sales have begun at the 7,100-acre Vistancia community in north Peoria.
With wide open spaces, numerous home choices and strong community ties, Vistancia, located west of Lake Pleasant Road and north of Happy Valley Parkway, has been a major hit since it first debuted in 2004.
"The distinctive floor plans and recreational amenities at Vistancia provide home buyers with a variety of choices," said Curt Smith, chief operating officer for Sunbelt Holdings, which is developing the community in a partnership with Shea Homes.
Starting at Vistancia's Discovery Center, which gives an overview of amenities as well as information on area schools and services, visitors can tour the model home village showcasing 35 homes by six builders. This includes the two new models for Shea Homes' Entrada neighborhood.
Three different home collections at Vistancia--Adventure, Journey and Destination--offer a diverse selection of floor plans ranging from 1,400 to more than 4,900 square feet.
Vistancia's Adventure Collection features three neighborhoods-Redrock Trails by Engle Homes, Stoneridge by Maracay Homes and Desert Trails by Shea Homes-priced from the low $300,000s.

Vistancia's initial phase, which opened less than two years ago with 945 home sites in 11 neighborhoods, is nearly sold out. Currently, the community's new phase neighborhoods are offering an additional 755 home sites. Later this year, another 150 home sites will open in three neighborhoods.
More than 2100 homes have been sold at Vistancia, including the age-qualified Trilogy at Vistancia neighborhood, since the master planned community opened nearly two years ago.
Named America's Best Master Planned Community by the National Association of Home Builders in 2005, the 7,100-acre Vistancia also garnered a 2005 Gold Nugget design award for "Best Master Planned Community of the Year" from the Pacific Coast Builders Conference and Builder magazine for its organic design and integration of amenities with neighborhoods.
A key amenity is the Mountain Vista Club featuring three pools -- one with two water slides -- an indoor basketball gymnasium, meeting rooms, a tennis complex with stadium seating, a game lawn and open play areas. The showcase amenity is the Discovery Trail spanning more than three miles and including several interactive
gardens, walkways and lookouts introducing users to the area's natural wonders while linking neighborhoods to schools and other key amenities.
